In the field

Base camp on Tukarak Island, Belcher Islands. This was the site of a (abandoned) Hudson Bay post. It is close to a soapstone quarry used by the Inuit of Sanikiluak.

In the field, is a collection of memories about field trips and field seasons. I decided I should do this before it’s all forgotten. It is, admittedly, something of an indulgence.
